My sister and I have been trying to get to this place for the past several weeks since we discovered it. This place is off Boerne Stage Road, down the street from where we live. We finally were able to convince our mom to take the trip with us. We noticed they had a wine tasting and dinner event that evening, so we wanted to try and make it there earlier to just check it out without having to be obligated to join in 🙂
First of all, The Point Park & Eats is more than just a parking spot for food trucks, they have plenty of seating, feature a local art house, and even have a park for the kids to play. We got there a little past 5, and it was deserted. There were a couple of people at the open air bar (kind of cool) and a couple with some babies strolled in after we got there. I’ll chalk that up to being 5 is weird dinner time, and plus like I said, people were coming for the wine tasting and music that evening.
There were 4 trucks there, a good mix. Mexican, sushi, american-ish, and a crepe truck. I loved the crepes from CrepeNation, and so did my family. From living in Europe for 4 years and missing authentic Crepes, these sure did come close!!
The kids of course, opted for chicken tenders and pizza from Colona’s Curbside Cafe, which was equally fantastic!
